	Shumba Valley Lodge is ideally located for conference, leisure and business travelers who seek the tranquility of the countryside, whilst being within easy distance from both Johannesburg and Pretoria. Lanseria Airport is a mere 5 minutes drive from Shumba Valley Lodge and a 45 minute drive from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport. The Hotel is close to the N1 and N14 highways with Sandton 20 minutes away. Shumba Valley Lodge is within the Cradle of Humankind. The conference facilities can house from 10 to 80 delegates schoolroom. “... Finding myself stranded at Lanseria Airport, I was advised to stay at Shumba Valley Lodge. I was personally picked up by your staff member Gary and, on arrival at Shumba, I got the feeling that they were really ‘concerned’ that I would be okay ... There was no fuss, no bother – just straight forward friendly efficiency. The next day, with no bother at all, I was taken back to Lanseria at 4am for my homeward flight. As a further touch, when I arrived in Cape Town, there was a voice mail left for me on my cell from David enquiring whether I had gotten home safely. This sweet touch was now ‘really above and beyond’ service!!!!
